Otso Capital’s fund managers co-invest in the fund’s strategy. If clients do well, then Otso Capital does well. But, Otso Capital’s fund managers directly lose if clients were to lose. This ensures an alignment of interests, ensures that Otso Capital puts clients first, aligns goals and objectives.

Otso Capital puts clients first. We avoid conflicts of interst with clients’ funds and whenever investing client money, obtain external third party oversight to provide additional reassurance and security.

We act with integrity in all we do. To this end, whenever investing client money, we secure external administrators and legal partners. This external scrutiny and oversight provides reassurance that we have put clients first and that our actions comply with all relevant laws and with ethical obligations and expectations.

We are open and honest with clients. We look extremely negatively on fund managers who mislead clients about returns or about what the fund is doing. We will not engage in greenwashing or other misleading conduct. We view such conduct as reprehensible. Instead, we are upfront with clients about how we view the portfolio’s characteristics. Our aim is to under-promise and over-deliver, not the other way around.
